Interpreting the Data and Measurements

How is the reasearch collected and on what scales are improvements measured?

Adverse Childhood Experiences Score (ACE)

ACEs are measured on a 1-10 scale and are scored based on the number of traumas suffered before the age of 18.

Parent Stress Level

This value is determined by a survey completed by parents in the study measuring how many 'stressors' and challenges they are experiencing on a daily basis that may affect the wellbeing of their child and their parent-child relationship.

Parent Child Relationship Score

The stressor checklist is a long questionaire that measures how many daily 'stressors' a parent is dealing with. It identifies a range of challenges that could be occuring in and out of the home.
